It just a few hours Apple will announce their third iPad tablet, which could end up being called the iPad HD, iPad 3 or something else, we have heard a number of rumors about the device over the last few weeks.
What he haven’t heard much about is what processor will power the new iPad 3, there have been a number of rumors that it will feature a quad core A6 processor, and others that the device will feature an updated dual core A5 processor called the A5X.
According to a recent report by The Verge, the iPad 3 or iPad HD will feature a new dual core A5X processor and we wont see the new quad core A6 processor until Apple launches the iPhone 5 later in the year.
The new iPad 3 is also rumored to come with 1GB of RAM, as opposed to 512MB which the iPad 2 has, we also know that the device will have a much higher resolution display, which is rumored to be a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels.
