Apple will launch iOS 8 some time in the fall, and it looks like the jailbreakers are already getting the iOS 8 jailbreak ready for the release of Apple’s new mobile OS.
According to Stefan Essar also know as @ i0n1c, the early signs for an iOS 8 jailbreak look promising, and that the first beta that Apple released the other day ‘doesn’t fix anything’.
Download finished. Initial tests show that iOS 8 beta does not fix anything. Dumped kernel fine, but code changed and patches are not found.
I guess tomorrow I need a few hours in the office to fix the code and then the JB should be iOS 8 beta compatible.
Apple are expected to release iOS 8 in the fall, and we suspect it will launch in September, so if a jailbreak is possible on the device, don’t expect to see it released until the first official release of iOS 8.
From what we have seen so far, Apple iOS 8 comes with a range of interesting new features, we are hoping that it will be available in September along with the new 4.7 inch version of the iPhone 6.
Apple are also rumored to be launching a 5.5 inch version of the iPhone 6, this is expected to launch in either October or November.
