We recently heard that Apple Pay will be introduced to the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus when Apple launches iOS 8.1, and now it looks like Apple may release iOS 8.1 on the 20th of October.
Of course this release date has yet to be confirmed by Apple, we previously heard that Apple’s new iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 would come with iOS 8.1.
That would mean that Apple would launch their new iPad Mini 3 and iPad Air 2 later this month, the company is rumored to be holding a press event some time this month where they will announce their next generation iPads.
We are also expecting to hear more details about the release of OS X Yosemite at the event, the latest release of the beta was a GM, which means it should also launch this month.
As well as the new iPads and also details on Yosemite and the iOS 8.1 release, we are also expecting to see a new Apple TV at Apple’s press event, and possibly a new Mac Mini which was recently spotted.
Apple may also announce some new iMac’s with a Retina display, these devices were also spotted recently. As yet there are no details on exactly when Apple’s press event will be, as soon as we get some more information, we will let you guys know.
