
When we hear about apps to save articles for offline reading, the number one app which comes to mind is Pocket. But, it’s not the only one, there are more feature-rich apps available for mobile devices as well.
Instapaper is another interesting option for offline reading, but the app costed $3. With the latest Instapaper update for Android, which bumps it to version 4.0, the app goes free, with premium features coming at the usual $2.99 a month or $29.99 a year subscription.
With the latest update, the app introduces text-to-speed feature which give users the ability to listen to the saved articles. Additionally, if you opt for the premium subscription, you can enjoy features such as full-text search, unlimited highlights and Text-to-Speech playlists.

As for people who have purchased the app, Instapaper will give you a access to the premium features free for one month. Existing users also get the ability to subscribe to the new pricing moving forward.
