Adding to the ever growing range of Amazon Alexa enabled devices iHome has this week unveiled a new outdoor smart plug complete with Alexa integration and support for Google Assistant and Apple’s Homekit technology. The iHome iSP100 smart plug is priced at $40 and has been specifically designed to be rugged and withstand outdoor elements. Expanding the iHome SmartPlug series enabling users to control your outdoor lighting, decorations and more and best of all the wireless connected smart plug requires no hubs or monthly fees to function. iHome also unveiled a trio of Wi-Fi-enabled, battery-powered smart home sensors, each priced at $29.99, but none of them support HomeKit. Unfortunately, no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet for the new iHome sensors, but as soon as information comes to light, we will keep you updated as always.
