The Huawei Mate 10 Pro will launch in the US next month, the handset was supposed to launch with AT&T and Verizon and now it looks like this will not happen.
Yesterday we heard that Huawei’s deal with AT&T has been cancelled at the last minute and it looks like the Verizon deal may go the same way. According to a number of reports us lawmakers may have had a hand in the deals with the carriers collapsing.
Various reports are suggesting that US lawmakers urged the carriers not to sell the handsets, after concerns bout privacy and Huawei’s ties with the Communist Part and China’s Intelligence agencies.
Huawei will sell the device direct from their website in the US, the lack of carrier partnerships for the company will probably hurt sales of the handsets in the US.
