Earlier today we showed you a press render of the new HTC One M8 Prime, and now according to @evleaks, the premium version of the HTC One M8 will come with a new version of HTC’s custom user interface, HTC Sense 6.5.
The current HTC One M8 comes with HTC Sense 6.0, and HTC are said to be working on HTC Sense 6.5 which will launch in the new HTC One M8 Prime, we can also expect it to be released as an update for other devices.
The other day we heard that HTC would be using a new composite metal casing for the One M8 Prime, the casing is apparently made from a combination of aluminum and silicon.
The HTC One M8 Prime is said to come with a number of hardware updates over the original handset, one of the major updates will be the display which is rumored to feature a QHD resolution of 2560 a 1440 pixels. The handset is also expected to get the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor.
The Snapdragon 805 is a quad core processor with a clock speed of 2.5GHz, and the device will also come with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of built in storage, plus a microSD card slot.
The new One M8 Prime will also come with a new dual Ultrapixels cameras on the back of the device, which will apparently be in some sort of 18MP Depth / 5 MP UP set up, it will also come with faster LTE which will provide download speeds of up to 300 Mbps.
As far as we know we will have to wait a couple of months to see the new HTC One M8 Prime, as the handset is rumored to launch some time in September.
