HTC recently announced the HTC Desire 816, the handset is available to pre-order in China, and according to a recent report, HTC has been doing well with pre-orders of the handset.
In the first three days since the HTC Desire 816 has been available to pre-order, the company has managed to sell 450,000 units of the device, this is good news for the company, who have been trying to turn their smartphone sales around.
The handset retails for $293 in China, and it comes with some decent features for the price, which include a 5.5 inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.
Under the hood of the HTC Desire 816 is a quad core 1.6Ghz Snapdragon 400 processor, it also features 1GB of RAM and 8GB of built in storage plus a microSD card slot.
The Desire 816 is equipped with front and rear facing cameras, on the back there is a 13 megapixel camera, up front there is a 5 megapixel camera.
The HTC Desire 816 also comes with LTE, a 2,600 mAh battery, HTC Sense 5.5 and Android 4.4 KitKat, it is only available in China at the moment.
