HTC unveiled the HTC Desire 816 at MWC 2014 last month, and we recently heard that the handset was expected to retail for less than $300.
According to a recent report, the HTC Desire 816 will retail for $293 or 213 Euros, and it will be offered by all three carriers in China and will be available from the 18th of March.
The HTC Desire 816 comes with a 5.5 inch HD display that has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, the device features a quad core 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and 1GB of RAM, the handset also comes with 8GB of built in storage.
Should you need additional storage, the HTC Desire 816 comes with a microSD card slot that supports 128GB cards, the device also features front and rear facing cameras.
On the front of the handset we have a 5 megapixel camera for video calls, on the back of the device there is a 13 megapixel camera.
The HTC Desire 816 also comes with 4G LTE and a 2,600 mAh battery, the handset comes with HTC Sens 5.5 and the latest version of Google’s mobile OS, Android 4.4 KitKat.
