HTC has launched the new HTC Desire 626 smartphone in Taiwan and the handset comes with a 5 inch display that has a HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.
The HTC Desire 626 is powered by a quad core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and it comes with 1GB of RAM.
This version of the handset is expected to launch in Europe, and HTC are also expected to announce another version of the device with a 1.7GHz MediaTek MT6572 processor.
The new HTC Desire 626 comes with 16GB of storage, this can be expanded by a further 128GB thanks to a microSD card slot.
The handset is equipped with front and rear facing cameras, on the front there is a 5 megapixel camera for Selfies and video calls and on the back is a 13 megapixel camera on the back.
The Desire 626 is equipped with a 2000 mAh battery and it also comes with 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and a microUSB port. The handset is being sold for 5990 TWD which is around £125 at the current exchange rate.
We are expecting to find out more information on when the European version of the Desire 626 will be launching at Mobile World Congress next month.
