Apple’s iPhone X comes with their Face ID facial recognition technology, this is used to unlock the device and also for Apple Pay. Previous iPhones have used Touch ID for Apple Pay, the new Face ID works slightly differently.
The guys from MacRumors have put together a handy video which shows how Face ID works with Apple Pay on the new iPhone X. It gives us some details on how to set it up and how to use it to make payments in stores and also online.
As we can see from the video the new iPhone X and Face ID appears to be easy to setup on the new iPhone X. As well as using it in stores it can also be used to make online payments on the web and within some apps.
Apple will also bring a new feature to Apple Pay with their iOS 11.2 software update. You will soon be able to send money to your family and friends using Apple Pay Cash. They can then withdraw the money to their bank account or keep it on their iPhone to use with Apple Pay.
Apple recently released their fourth beta of iOS 11.2, we are expecting the final version of the software to be released to everyone some time this month. As soon as we get some more details on when the update is coming, we will let you guys know.
