Anker has created an affordable 4K home projector the form of the Nebula Cosmos Max, currently available with $600 off the recommended retail price and available for just $1,099. The Cosmos Max combines “breathtaking 4K visuals, 3D audio, and Android 9 to realise our ambition of creating the ultimate all-in-one home cinema projector. And Cosmos is the 1080p, but just-as-feature-packed, version of our latest home cinema” says Anker.
Launched via Kickstarter this month the campaign has already raised over $1.2 million thanks to over 1,600 backers with still 26 days remaining. The Anker Nebula Cosmos Max home projector is available in both 4K and 1080p resolutions with the lower resolution projector available from just $469 offering a considerable $230 saving off the retail price that will take effect once the Kickstarter campaign comes to an end.
“There’s a reason we love going to the cinema. The huge screens. As a cinema lover yourself, you’ll know that only an enormous screen can provide a true cinematic experience, and to recreate that at home would be extremely costly, with 90” TV’s costing upwards of $6,000. Cosmos captures that magic thanks to its 150-inch picture. From the bustling streets of New York to the mesmerizing emptiness of space, lose yourself in worlds beyond your imagination right from the comfort of your couch.”
“Cosmos Max uses cutting-edge LEDs to project 3840 x 2160 pixels of astounding depth and clarity, while Cosmos is designed to provide the same immersive experience in 1080p. See your favorite films, shows, games, and more in incredible detail. Cosmos Max also breathes new life into your old DVDs, videos, and even live TV broadcasts thanks to Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG). It automatically detects if you’re watching non-HDR content and upscales it in real time so everything you watch looks its best.”
