When Apple launched the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus the company ditched the headphone jack. Now Google has done the exact same thing with their Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones.
The Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL do not have a headphone jack, instead the handsets come with a USB-C connector. If you want to use 3.5mm headphones with these new smartphones then you will have to use an adapter.
Google has included an adapter for 3.5mm headphone with the new Pixel smartphones. If you loose it though, a replacement will cost you $20.
Google announced their new wireless headset, the Google Pixel Buds which look pretty impressive as they feature the Google Assistant built in and can be used to translate around 40 languages.
