Philips has introduced a new gaming monitor this week in the form of the Momentum 392M7C offering an affordable entry level curved display equipped with a 38.5-inch VA offering users a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Other features of the gaming display include amaximum brightness of 250 nits, a 5000:1 contrast ratio, a 3000R curvature, a 1 ms MPRT response time.
Phillips have also included a 144 Hz maximum refresh rate with VESA’s Adaptive-Sync variable refresh rate technology on top allowing the gaming monitor display 16.7 million colors and covers 105.48% of the sRGB and 94.11% of the NTSC colour gamuts. “Philips VA LED display uses an advanced multi-domain vertical alignment technology which gives you super-high static contrast ratios for extra vivid and bright images. While standard office applications are handled with ease, it is especially suitable for photos, web-browsing, movies, gaming, and demanding graphical applications. It’s optimized pixel management technology gives you 178/178 degree extra wide viewing angle, resulting in crisp images.”
