On stage at the State of Unreal conference during GDC 2018 this week, Epic Games has announced that its hugely popular Fortnite Battle Royale game will be receiving a new video editor feature. The Fortnite Replay Editor will provide players with the ability to captured and edit video footage of games they participate in. Using editing settings to tweak such things as exposure, aperture, focal length and focus.
Epic will release the replay editor and tools to developers in Unreal Engine 4.20 this summer. But has not confirmed any release date for non-developers on PC or console as yet, simply saying that the Fortnite Replay Editor is launching “soon”.
