Epic has today rolled out to the next test mode for the Fortnite Battle Royale game, in the form of a 20-versus-20-versus-20-versus-20-versus-20 mode allowing 100 players to battle it out for dominance. The new update is rolling out today, March 8th, 2018 and allows five teams of 20 players to battle it out to see who can survive the longest.
The limited time mode will only be available to play for a short time, in the same format as the recently tested experimental 50 vs 50 mode. Epic explains a little more about the new 5 team experiment limited time mode, “We’ve been using multiple data points (including your feedback) to iterate our existing [limited time modes]’s and to build brand new LTM’s. We are planning to quickly spin up a dozen or so LTMs, some of these may be more straightforward (e.g. along the lines of Sniper Shootout, Sneaky Silencer etc.). We also use LTMs to test new Shooting Models.” Check out the trailer below to learn more about what you can expect from this exciting new mode.
Other up-and-coming modes include : Blitz Mode (shorter matches!), Drop into the first circle, Generally less time between circles, Team sizes in between 50-versus-50 and squads and 50-versus-50 version 2. As soon as more information is announced on their arrival we will keep you up-to-date as always. Enjoy the new Fortnite mode.
