Earlier today, it was reported that Facebook Messenger Beta for Android received an update introducing some much needed features.
Now, it appears Facebook Messenger for iOS also picked up an update, bumping it to version 4.0, and introduced groups, and message forwarding, along with a number of bug fixes and enhancements to improve the overall experience of the app.
The latest update brings the ability to create groups, where you can add multiple people and send them instant messages all together. This can come in handy in situation where you want to talk to multiple people and don’t want to open separate Windows. Additionally, it also let users forward messages or images from one chat window to another in Facebook. All you need to do is tap on Forward and select the recipient, and you’re done.
If you happen to be a regular user of Facebook Messenger for iOS, now might be a good time to head over to the App Store and update the app — it’s free.
