Leef has launched their new Ohm electric scooter via Kickstarter this week making earlybird pledges available from $299 or roughly £233 for the first 20 backers with 12 months of LeefCare included, and delivery expected to take place during February 2020.
The Ohm is constructed using a one-piece cast aluminium deck to minimised weight while maximising strength. Ohm has been designed to provide riders with a balance of durability, weight, and portability in mind, says Leef. “The simple and clean lines of the scooter, with its elegant curvature and concealed wires and cables, will turn heads everywhere you go”.
The development team at Leef responsible for the Ohm electric scooter explain a little more about the worry free ownership plan aptly named LeefCare.
“Scooter ownership is good, but all-inclusive maintenance and service is way better. Our company is built on the backbone of service. We’re all used to product companies who offer product “warranties”, but come to realize how frustrating and often impossible it can be to get them honored. That’s why we created LeefCare™, our exclusive service that provides fast and efficient maintenance and repair on your scooter in case anything goes wrong. Whether you subscribe through our existing program or receive brand new Leef Ohm scooter by backing this campaign, we have you covered. This service is usually offered bundled in our Leef Electric Scooter Subscription for $15 a month, but we are including 1 full year of membership with all scooter reward tiers.”
