Mechanical Engineering Nate Barr has designed and created a new EDC multitool in the form of the Hyper Thin 440 EDC Wallet Knife which is now available to back via Kickstarter with earlybird pledges available from just $25 or roughly £19. If all goes well worldwide shipping is expected to take place sometime around May 2019. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the unique design of the folding credit card style pocketknife constructed from high-grade 440C Stainless Steel.
The Hyper Thin 440 has been designed and is constructed in the USA and has already blasted past its required pledge goal with still 22 days remaining on its campaign, thanks to nearly 200 backers.
“Introducing pocket knives that are the size of a credit card and are designed to look as extreme as they really are. Every part of this knife is engineered to look, feel, and perform as you need and want. It’s a multitool as well, with multiple features for everyday use. Worried TSA airport security might confiscate this knife from you? With our FlyOff design, think again. More about that in a minute.“
