During IFA 2019 this week Lenovo has unveiled a new convertible laptop which will be launching next month during October 2019 and taking the form of the Lenovo Yoga C940. A notebook equipped with a 14 inch IPS touchscreen display, offering 400-nits of brightness other resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels as the entry level model. Lenovo is also making available a 4K display but explains that the writer 500-nits of brightness will drain your battery life much faster.
The Lenovo Yoga C940 entry-level notebook is powered by an Intel Core i5 processor supported by 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. With up to an Intel Core i7 Ice Lake processor, up to 16GB of LPDDR4X memory and up to 1TB of solid state storage plus 32GB of Intel Optane memory available if your budget will stretch.
Other features of the Lenovo Yoga C940 are 2 x Thunderbolt 3 ports, USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A port, and a headset jack, together with Dolby Atmos audio, two microphones offering support for far-field voice recognition an connectivity via Bluetooth 5.0 and optional support available for WiFi 6/802.11ax. The Lenovo Yoga C940 will be available during October 2019 and priced from $1250.
