But it’s not so don’t throw this around the house, you might hurt someone, scare the cat, or break furniture. If the household vegetables are your prime target, however, then go ahead and chop ’em to pieces with this snazzy knife.
The 5.9 inch culinary ninja weapon is from Italian design firm Lucidipevere Studios in collaboration with Norman Copenhagen and is available in four different colors. What the Chop Round Knife has going for it is the roundness, which allegedly adds to the fun factor in the kitchen.
According to its makers:
“We wanted a usable knife in a simple design that sits well in the hand and which has an amusing and aesthetically stylish form.”
We couldn’t agree more. The circular shape also seems a more productive choice when chopping large amounts of ingredients. Just imagine how many onions you can tear up with this baby. Though your knife rack may feel a little bad cos this won’t fit its diagonal slots. Also, such a fashionable piece of kitchenware might become the envy of the other plain, boring straight knives.
Of course that last sentence was complete and utter nonsense. Sure, go ahead and plunk down some cash for one of these. At only $48, it’s a steel!
Haha! Get it? Steel?
