Audi has announced that they will show off a new concept car at CES in Las Vegas next week, the new Audi Sport Quattro Laserlight.
The Audi Sport Quattro Laserlight is a plug in hybrid, which according to Audi has a combined fuel consumption of just 2.5 liters of fuel per 100km, or a 94.09 US MPG.
“The new show car demonstrates technical ‘Vorsprung’ on many levels,” says Prof. Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg. “On-board this car we have e-tron technology with 515 kW of power and 2.5 l/100 km (94.09 US mpg) fuel economy; laser headlights that leave all previous systems in the dark with its higher performance as well as new display and operating systems with cutting-edge electronic performance. We are showing the future of Audi here.”
The Audi Sport Quattro Laserlight concept car comes with a four liter V8 biturbo engine which produces 560HP, it also has a 0 to 60 MPH time of just 3.7 seconds.
We heard earlier that Google and Audi have plans to announce a new partnership for Google’s Android OS in their vehicles at CES, and we suspect that this new system will be announced with the new Audi Sport Quattro Laserlight concept car next week.
