It seems it’s not just the Magenta carrier who will offer pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S5, AT&T and U.S. Cellular will also begin with pre-orders of the latest flagship device from Samsung starting today for $199.99 with a two-year contract with the respective carriers.
AT&T will take the pre-orders online and in-stores. In addition, the carrier is also taking pre-orders for the Samsung Gear Fit and Gear 2 smartwatches.
Let’s start with AT&T has to offer. We already told you the carrier will offer the Samsung Galaxy S5 for $199 on a two-year contract. The handset will also be available on AT&T Next for $25 per month with AT&T Next 18, $32.50 per month with AT&T Next 12, with the outright price to be $649.99.
Additionally, Samsung Gear family are also up for pre-orders online as well as in-stores at AT&T. The Samsung Gear 2 is available for $299, Gear 2 Neo for $199 and the Gear Fit for $199 — excluding taxes. It seems the pricing is almost the same as Taiwan, where the devices launched yesterday. When purchased with the Samsung Galaxy S5, users can enjoy a $50 discount on the Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo.
As for U.S. Cellular, the carrier will start taking pre-orders of the Samsung Galaxy S5 from today as well for $199.99 on a two-year pact. Additionally, users who will pre-order the device online will also get a $50 promotional Google Play credit. In addition, the carrier will also sell the Samsung Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit on April 11th.
