It looks like Apple is continuing to catch up with the demand for their new iPhone X smartphone. Just over a week ago the shipping improved on the handset in the US to 2 to 3 weeks, it has now improved again in the US in Canada to 1 to 2 weeks.
Things are still the same as last week in the UK Apple Store, Apple is now showing shipping times of 2 to 3 weeks in the UK, this may change soon as the US shipping recently improved.
Demand for Apple’s new iPhone has been strong since the handset went up for pre-order, it quickly sold out online and has been in high demand since it went on sale. The handset is Apple’s most expensive iPhone to date with prices starting at $999, this has not put people off.
Demand for the iPhone is expected to continue over the holiday period and Apple are not expected to catch up with demand until January of next year. The handset is apple’s first major redesign in a few years, it is also their first iPhone with an OLED display and Face ID.
The handset is Apple’s most popular iPhone to far, the device is also said to be Apple’s most popular product ever. It will be interesting to find out just how many units of their new iPhone Apple have sold.
