We have seen lots of videos of the new iPhone X being destroyed. These have included drop tests, some water tests and even some extreme heat and extreme cold tests on the device. Now we have another drop test video of Apple’s latest iPhone.
Apple’s new iPhone performed well in some drop tests and then also suffered significant damage in other tests. In the latest video the iPhone X is dropped from a height of 1000 feet. The handset is attached to a drone and then taken up to 1000 feet, it us then dropped.
As we can see from the video the glass back on the iPhone X is damaged, that going to cost $549, but the front display on the handset still works and the device is working as it continued to record video. We were a little surprised that the new iPhone managed to survive being dropped from a massive 1000 feet.
As with the previous videos, the iPhone X back glass appears to break quite easily so it may be a good idea to use a case with your shiny new iPhone. Overall it looks like the new iPhone is pretty durable as it appears to have survived many of the torture, drop and other test videos we have seen.
