Yesterday we saw an extreme freeze test on Apple’s iPhone X and the Samsung Galaxy S8, now we have another video, this one is an extreme heat test. In the video, which you can see below we get to see the Samsung Galaxy S8 vs iPhone X, both handsets are subjected to extreme heat.
In the extreme freeze test the iPhone X ended up not working properly with face ID not working after the handset was removed from the freezer. In the Samsung Galaxy S8 vs iPhone X video each handset is set on fire for a total of 15 seconds, which one will survive this new extreme heat test.
As we can see from the video the iPhone X appears to work fine with Face ID working and more, although it does have some damage to the display. The Samsung Galaxy S8 appears to have more damage to the display, although the handset works fine.
It is generally not a good idea to set your shiny new iPhone X or Samsung Galaxy S8 on fire and we would not recommend trying this out at home.
