Earlier today, it was reported that Apple Watch will hit the retail stores later this week, along with the option to reserve the wearable online and pick it up in-store.
It now appears that in-store sales of the Apple Watch will begin today in some parts of Australia. Apple Stores in the country are now offering Apple Watch to customers. All they have to do is make a reservation online and pick it up in-store.
If you go to the Australian Apple Store website and try to purchase the Apple Watch, you’ll see a “Interested in buying in-store?” option which checks for reservation availability. Clicking on the link shows nearby Apple stores which are letting users see whether a particular Apple Watch is in stock or not, as well as the next available reservation time.
Now that it’s available in Australia, it won’t be long before the in-store sales commence in other major markets as well, including the UK and the U.S.
Anyone interested in picking up the Apple Watch when it’s available in-stores?
