Apple [AAPL] has updated its Mac Pro, and added the option to have a 3.33GHz Quad Core Intel Xeon Processor, which is now offered in addition to the 2.66GHz quad core processor and the 2.93GHz Intel Xeon processor.
Adding the 3.33GHz Quad Core Intel Xeon Processor, will add an extra $1200 to the cost of the Mac Pro, which is quite a bit considering there are rumors that Apple will be updating the Mac Pro to Intel’s new 6 core ‘Gulftown’ processors in the next update.
