If you’re rocking the Sony Xperia Z1s (C6916) for T-Mobile, you should check your notifications are as the carrier is rolling out the latest Android 4.4.4 KitKat for the handset.
The latest update bumps the build number to 14.4.B.0.37 and comes with the same goodies introduced with the Android 4.4 KitKat update, such as transparent navigation buttons, white status bar icons, improved SMS capabilities, cloud print support, a customized Xperia keyboard, and more.
Sony Xperia Z1s launched earlier this year on T-Mobile and came with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean as its operating system pre-installed out of the box. So, the bumpt to Android 4.4.4 KitKat appears to be a big one for those using the handset.
The device offers a similar set of specifications as the Sony Xperia Z1, and comes with a 5-inch display sporting a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, and comes with a quad-core Snapdragon 800 SoC with 2GB of RAM and 16GB storage on board. The handset is also IP58 certified that makes it dust and water-resistant.
