Motorola is reportedly working on some new Droid models which will make their way to Verizon in the coming weeks. One of the models is codenamed Droid “Clark” and the other model is code named the Droid “Kinzie.”
Both of these devices are rumored to come with high-end specifications and recently, the alleged Motorola Droid Kinzie with a model number XT1585 was spotted on a benchmarking website, revealing some of the specifications it’s expected to come with.
Motorola Droid “Kinzie” Specifications
The alleged Motorola Droid “Kinzie” is expected to feature a 5.5-inch display sporting a resolution of 2,560 by 1,440 pixels resolution with a 534 ppi pixel density. This high-resolution display ensures that users will experience sharp and vibrant visuals, making it ideal for multimedia consumption, gaming, and productivity tasks. Under the hood, there’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor paired with 3GB of RAM, which should provide ample power for multitasking and running demanding applications smoothly.
In terms of storage, the Droid “Kinzie” is expected to come with 32GB of internal storage. While this should be sufficient for most users, it is not yet clear if the device will support expandable storage via a microSD card. The device is expected to come with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop as its operating system, offering a smooth and user-friendly interface along with access to the latest features and security updates from Google.
On the photography front, the Droid “Kinzie” is rumored to feature a 20MP rear camera for photos and videos. This high-resolution camera should be capable of capturing detailed and vibrant images, making it a great choice for photography enthusiasts. Additionally, there’s a 5MP front-facing camera, which should be more than adequate for selfies and video calls.
Motorola Droid “Clark” and Market Expectations
While specific details about the Motorola Droid “Clark” are still under wraps, it is expected to come with similarly impressive specifications. Given Motorola’s history of producing high-quality devices, it is likely that the Droid “Clark” will also feature a powerful processor, ample RAM, and a high-resolution display. It may also come with a robust camera setup, similar to the Droid “Kinzie.”
Both devices appear to be top-notch, and are expected to hit retail on Verizon. The inclusion of high-end specifications suggests that Motorola is aiming to compete with other flagship devices in the market, such as the Samsung Galaxy S series and the Apple iPhone. By offering powerful hardware and the latest software, Motorola hopes to attract both new customers and loyal fans of the Droid series.
In addition to the hardware specifications, Motorola may also include some unique software features and enhancements to differentiate these devices from the competition. For example, previous Droid models have included features such as Moto Display, which provides quick access to notifications and information without fully waking the device, and Moto Actions, which allows users to perform certain tasks with simple gestures.
Stay tuned, we’ll update you as soon as we get any other information about the above-mentioned devices. As the release date approaches, more details are likely to emerge, including pricing, availability, and additional features. For now, it is clear that Motorola is preparing to make a strong statement in the high-end smartphone market with the upcoming Droid “Clark” and Droid “Kinzie.”
