A new flying drone quadcopter is on Indiegogo seeking the funding to come to market. The drone is called the AeroTrainer and it is aimed at coaches and sports teams to allow them to get a birdseye view of the action for training and monitoring. The AeroTrainer is designed to work with various sensors that athlete wears to let the coach track body temperature, heart rate, and more.
The sensors can track things like impact strength to see if the player may have a concussion. The drone is designed to be very easy to operate and can send telemetry data to an app running on a mobile device like a tablet or smartphone. It will be able to record video and share that video with other users.
The drone is able to record 360-degrees of video and conduct 3D movement analysis. The AeroTrainer is on Indiegogo to raise funds. The project is seeking $75,000 and has raised only $175 so far. The project has 43 days to go and will end on April 17. To get an AeroTrainer for 50% off during the Indiegogo program will cost $495.
