We have been hearing rumors for some time that the new iPhone 6 will launch in September, we previously heard that Apple would launch the 4.7 inch iPhone 6 in September, and the larger 5.5 inch model one to two months later.
According to a recent report by Brian White, of Cantor Fitzgerald, Apple will launch the 4.7 inch iPhone 6 in September, and the 5.5 inch version in October.
“Our visit provided us with incremental confidence in the ramp of Apple’s product pipeline this fall,” White wrote in a note to clients obtained by BGR. “For example, our research indicates that Apple will launch the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 in September, and we believe the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 could be announced at a similar time or shortly thereafter in October. As such, we are confident that the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 will be launched this year.”
Both versions of the new iPhone 6 are said to come with similar specifications, which will include a display with a resolution of 1704 x 960 pixels.
Apple are expected to debut their new 64-bit mobile processor in the iPhone 6, the Apple A8, and both handsets are also rumored to get more RAM than the existing model.
The iPhone 6 is also expected to feature a new camera, the camera is said to be thinner than previous versions, which ties in with the thinner design of the new iPhone, and it will come with electronic image stabilization instead of OIS.
Apple have said that iOS 8 will launch this fall, and we are expecting the iPhone 6, Apple iOS 8, and the Apple iWatch to be unveiled in September.
