
Apple is expected to launch a new iPad Air 3 in the first half of next year, the new iPad will not come with 3D Touch, this will apparently not come to iPads until after the iPhone 7.
Apple is rumored to release their new iPhone 7 in the second half of 2016, the handset is rumored to launch around August or September of next year.
Apple is working to scale their 3D Touch technology, which is currently available on the iPhone 6S range to their iPad range, this wont happen until the later part of 2016.
Apple is looking to bring the technology to their 9.7 inch iPad Air range, this probably wont happen until the iPad Air 4 launches and also their second generation iPad Pro, which would launch in the second half of 2016.
So if the recent reports are correct, we could first see 3D Touch on the iPad Pro in 2016 and then on the new iPad Air 4 in 2017, it is unlikely that the technology will be available in next years iPad Air 3.
Apple will also use the technology in next years iPhones, which will include the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. As soon as we get some more details on exactly when 3D Touch is headed to Apple’s iPads, we will let you guys know.
