Toshiba’s Space Chair Project

Toshiba has created a cool advert for their new 2010 REGZA SV LCD TV range by sending a chair to the edge of space and filming it.

The chair was lifted to 98,268 feet, which took 83 minutes to get there, the chair was fitted with a helium balloon and a Toshiba IK-HR1S compact camera to film the action, check out the video below.

Apple Wins Copyright Infringement Case Against Psystar

Apple [AAPL] has won its first stage of its legal battle against Psystar, who make PCs which run Apple’s OS X operating system.

This is the first in a series of legal battles between Apple and Psystar, and the case that was won was for copyright infringement, as Psystar was illegally copying, modifying and distributing Apple’s software code.

Nokia E72 Goes On Sale In The UK

The much anticipated Nokia E72 has gone on sale in the UK today, and it is the sucessor to the popular Nokia E71.

The Nokia E72 features a 2.36 inch WVGA display with a resolution of 320 x 240, it comes with a full QWERTY keyboard, and it measures 114mm by 58.3mm by 10.2mm and weighs in at 128g.

Leica has confirmed the launch of a limited edition of its M7 camera, the Leica M7 Hermes Edition.

The Leica M7 Hermes Edition is the second collaboration between Leica and Hermes, there will only be 200 of this limited edition Leica M7 produced, 100 in orange and 100 in green, and each camera will features a special sequential serial number between 001 and 200.

Palm Releases webOS 1.3.1 Update

Palm has released a new update to its webOS, with webOS 1.3.1 for the Palm Pre and Palm Pixi.

WebOS 1.3.1 features a number bug fixes as well as a range of feature changes to existing applications, one of which is the backup function which now includes browser cookies, as well as changes to the calendar, contacts and camera.
