Apple [AAPL] has announced that there are now more than 100,000 apps available to download to the iPhone and iPod Touch from the iTunes App store.

iPhone and iPod Touch users are download apps at the rate of about 10,000 per day, which is pretty impressive, and it shows just how popular the app store and the iPhone and iPod Touch platforms have become.

A developer called Zodttd is working on an N64 emulator for the iPhone 3GS, the iPhone 3Gs might just have enough power to run N64 games, and according to the developer it will only work on the iPhone 3GS and latest iPod Toich, which have the GPU and CPU and OpenGLES 2.0 support.

It seems that Orange, who are about to start selling the iPhone on the 10th of November are offering a so called unlimited data plane with the iPhone which is actually limited.

Rory Cellan Jones from the BBC has discovered something interesting in Orange’s iPhone terms and conditions, that data will be limited to 750MB per month, not only is data limited but some services aren’t included in the 750MB limit.

UK mobile phone operator Orange, who will start selling the Apple iPhone from the 10th of November has launched its first iPhone app called ‘Orange Wednesdays’

The Orange Wednesdays application is available as a free download from the iPhone App store in the UK, and it brings the Orange Wednesdays cinema service to the iPhone.

If you have jailbroken your iPhone, and haven’t changed the default root password then there is the possibility that your iPhone could easily be hacked, basically a hacker can log into your iPhone or iPod Touch and gain full control of your device.

This was the case when a Dutch hacker sent an SMS to iPhones that he had hacked because the root password was the default one, he was then charging people 5 Euros to remove his software from the iPhone.

George was offered $10,000 to sell the Blacksn0w jailbreak, but he decided he would like everyone to have it for free, you cant fault him on that.

George Hotz had released a new version of his popular blackra1n iPhone Jailbreak tool for both Windows and Mac, Blackra1n RC2.
