Last week we showed you some leaked photos of two new cameras from Leica, the Leica M9 and X1, which are due to be unveiled on Wednesday, well it looks like more photos have been leaked of the Leica M9 along with some specifications.

This looks like it might be one of the smallest pockets camcorders we have seen here on Geeky Gadgets, the Aiptek PenCam Trio HD.
The Aiptek PenCam Trio HD may look small from the photos but it has a host of features, including being able to record HD video in 720p at 30fps, it also features a built in 1.1 inch OLED screen, it looks more like a spy gadget than a pocket camcorder.

Samsung has added a new compact digital camera to its range with the launch of the Samsung ST45.
The Samsung ST45 is ultra thin, measuring just 0.63 inches at its thickest point, although it is slim it doesn’t skimp on features, with a 2.7 inch QVGA LCD screen, a 12.2 megapixel sensor with 3x optical zoom and ISO 3,200 sensitivity.

Leica has a special event scheduled for the 9th of September, which is the same day as Apples special event, some photos have appeared on the Internet of a couple of new cameras from Leica, the M9 and X1.
The Leica M9 will comes with a full frame 18.2 megapxiel sensor, whilst the X9 will comes with a 12 megapxiel APS-C sensor and a fixed 24mm lens.

It looks like the Olympus EP-1 just got some serious competition, with the launch of the latest Micro Four Thirds Camera from Panasonic, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF1.
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF1 is the worlds smallest and lightest system camera, a title previously held by the Olympus Ep-1, it comes with a 3 inch LCD screen with a Live View functionality, and a 4/3 type 12.1 megapixel Live MOS Sensor.

We featured a number of Casio’s new compact digital cameras last week including the Casio Exilim EX-Z33, now we have another new camera from Casio, the EX-Z280.
The Casio EX-Z280 features a 12.1 megapixel sensor with a wide angle 26mm 4 x optical zoom, and is capable of recording HD video in 720p.

Samsung has added a new compact digital camera to its range with the launch of the Samsung WB 5000, which features a 24x optical zoom lens, and a 3 inch LCD screen.
The Samsung WB 5000 comes with a 12.5 megapixel sensor, and it features a Schneider-KREUZNACH lens offers a 24x optical zoom with a 26mm wide-angle focal length (35mm film equivalent focal range of 26mm-624mm).

Olympus has added a new DSLR to its range with the launch of the Olympus E600, which is basically a more affordable version of its E620.
The Olympus E600 DSLR features a 12.3 megapixel sensor, with a 2.7 inch swivel HyperCrystal LCD screen, and a bunch of art filters including a Soft Focus filter, a Pop Art filter which enhances colors, and a pin hole filter.

Yesterday we saw a leaked photo and some specifications for Canon’s latest DSLR, today Canon has officially unveiled the Canon EOS 7D.
The Canon EOS 7D is designed to be used by professional photographers and advanced amateurs, it comes with an 18-megapixel Canon CMOS sensor and Dual DIGIC 4 Imaging Processors.

Details have been leaked of the latest high end DSLR from Canon, the Canon Eos 7D, including some photos and a full list of specifications.
The Canon EOS 7D will come with a 18 megapixel sensor, a 3 inch LCD display, dual DIGIC 4 processors and an ISO range of 100 to 6400, which extends to 12800.

Sony has added some new DSLR cameras to its range, the most notable one is the Sony Alpha 850 DSLR.
The Sony Alpha A850 DSLR comes with a 24.6 megapixel full frame Exmor CMOS sensor with dual BIONZ processing, a 3 inch LCD display, an ultra bright viewfinder, and SteadyShot inside image stabilisation.
