Amazon Silk Browser Could Move To Other Platforms And Devices In The Future
With the launch of Amazon’s new Silk browser yesterday, its already been thought that Amazon might in the future roll it out to other operating systems such as Windows and Mac. Domain names also registered by Amazon yesterday may also be an indication that they are looking to release their new browser on Android as well, and offer it as a download from the Android Market.
The domains name registration made yesterday by Amazon were spotted by the Fusible website and includes AmazonSilkForWindows.com, SilkForMac.com and AmazonSilkForAndroid.com.

Expanding Silk to other devices and operating systems would make sense for Amazon but nothing has been officially announced as yet and the domain registrations could be just Amazon covering their backs to stop undesirables registering the domains. As more information comes to light we will as always keep you updated.
