Sony has shown off a new green gadget, which features dye-sensitized solar cells. The cool thing about this lamp is that the panels work in the same way as photosynthesis, they store energy in the thin membrane, in a low cost way.

Check out this cool Wii-Mote mode from modder DHRECK, which is the first in a series of 6 Wii-Mote mods. DHRECK removed most of the hard plastic shells of the Wii-Mote and Nunchuk, and then re-built it using 3 different types of 100% natural hemp string.

OCZ has launched a new range of  2.5 inch SATA II SSDs, the OCZ Vertex Series. The OCZ Vertex Series of SSDs come in a variety of capacities from 30GB, 60GB, 120GB or 250GB. The Vertex Series SSDs come with up to 64MB of on board cache, 160MB/sec write speeds and 200 MB/sec read speeds.
