The latest company to enter the netbook arena is MaxData, with the Belinea o.Book 1XS.
This latest netbook features a 10 inch screen, a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor and 1GB of DDR2 RAM.
It measures 10.3 x 7.1 x 1.2 inches and weighs in at 1.3kg. Storage comes in the form of a 160GB SATA hdd and the 10.2 inch screen has a max resolution of 1024 x 600.
Graphics comes in the form of an integrated 128MB Intel GMA 950 chip, there is also WiFi and the obligatory 1.3 megapixel camera, as well as a 4-in-1 card reader , 3 USB ports and headphone and mic ports.
Nothing new really, pretty much the same as all the rest, so what would make us choose this over other models the price? no it is set to retail for around £290 about $430.
If new manufacturers want to get into the netbook market, then they are going to have to come up with something extra to make people choose over current models which have been hugely popular like the Asus Eee or the new Dell Mini 9 and Mini 12.
