Back in April we heard that Microsoft’s Windows Phone Marketplace had hits 80,000 applications published, and now it looks like Microsoft has hit another milestone as according to a recent report more than 100,000 applications have been published.
Although there have been more than 100,000 applications published to the Windows Phone Marketplace, not all of them are available to download, according to the report there are currently 88,371 apps available at the moment.
It took Microsoft 20 months to reach this 100,000 applications published milestone, this is actually faster than Google’s Android store, which is now called Google Play, which took 24 months to reach 100,000 apps published.
