Windows 10 is supposed to be Microsoft’s new platform that will unify all devices, this includes PCs, smartphones and tablets.
Now it looks like we will have to wait a while to get Windows 10 on smartphones, as Microsoft has announced that the PC version of the software will launch first.
According to Microsoft’s Joe Belifore, the smartphone version of Windows 10 is not at the same development stage as the desktop version.
This means that Microsoft will be doing a staggered release of the software with PCs and notebook getting it first and then smartphones.
On top of that it looks like the mobile carriers will also be involved in when Windows 10 will be released to mobile phones, so the release date for each handset could possibly vary by mobile carrier.
As yet there are no details on when the new version of Microsoft software will be available for smartphones, as soon as we get some more details, we will let you guys know.
