Western Digital has this week introduced two new additions to its range of G-Technology G-SPEED Shuttle storage systems, unveiling the new 4-bay G-SPEED Shuttle ultra-transportable solutions fully equipped with Thunderbolt 3 DAS connectivity. Designed to easily support 4K and 8K content transfers and quickly move the footage from one location to the next the G-SPEED Shuttle is available in two different systems.
The G-SPEED Shuttle with Thunderbolt 3 is now available throughout the United States and is available in a range of storage capacities starting from 16TB priced at $1,799.95, 24TB for $2,299.95, 32TB for $2,799.95 and 48TB priced at $3,799.95. Thanks to its dual Thunderbolt 3 ports the G-SPEED Shuttle provides options for RAID 0, 1, 5, and 10 in a 4-bay transportable design. Offering transfer rates up to 1000 MB/s and removable 7200 RPM enterprise class drives.
Secondly the G-SPEED Shuttle with ev Series Bay Adapters is also now available throughout the United States offering to storage options with either 20TB for $1,999.95 or 24TB for $2,299.95. equipped with similar features to the Thunderbolt 3 version, this version offers integration with ev Series bay adapters for improve workflow by offering cross-functionality with all ev Series drives and readers.
