Virtual reality gamers searching for an archery shooter may be interested in a new game created by the development team behind Everest VR. The Iceland based development team at Sólfar Studios this week unveiled the first glimpse of their new VR archery game and rogue style RPG, In Death. The procedurally generated dungeon crawl style game has been built using the Unreal 4 Engine and the company has started making available a free closed beta development stage and you can sign up for now.
In Death is being created for “high immersion VR platforms” which I guess is the likes of the Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and PlayStation VR systems leaving mobile VR in the cold. In Death As expected to launch sometime during next year 2018 and as soon as any more information comes to light will keep you up to speed as always.
Battle through procedurally generated levels and dungeons in intense ranged combat coupled with a unique locomotion system perfectly attuned to your fighting style. A VR shooter with roguelike elements, In Death’s surreal medieval setting is presented in a procedurally generated world with monsters, mysteries and loot. Driven by an achievement-based progression system that advances between sessions, each run is unique, with unpredictable outcomes.
