Verizon Wireless has announced that it will start taking pre-orders on the new HTC 10 smartphone on the 29th of April.
The company will be taking pre-orders for the handset in its retail stores and also online and it will have in store previews of the handset from the 29th of April.
The HTC 10 features a 5.2 inch display with a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, the device comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB of RAM, there is also a choice of 32GB or 64GB of storage and a microSD card slot.
Other specifications on the handset include a 5 megapixel front camera and a 12 megapixel rear camera, both cameras are equipped with Optical Image Stabilization.
The device comes with Android Marshmallow, a 3000 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0, WiFi, Bluetooth, 4G LTE and a fingerprint sensor, it also features HTC BoomSound Hi-Fi Edition and Dolby Audio.
According to Verizon they will be the first wireless carrier to offer HTC’s new flagship smartphone, the company has not revealed any details on contracts or pricing as yet, you can find out more details at the link below.
The off contract price of the handset has been confirmed as $699.99, so the Verizon pricing for the device is expected to be similar.
