WANDRD has created a new camera backpack specifically designed for photographers, offering inflatable pads to provide extra protection to your camera equipment, lenses and gear. Advertised as the first first packable backpack with inflatable back panel and inflatable camera protection the VEER 18 backpack has this week launched by Kickstarter and already raised over $91,000 thanks to nearly 1,000 backers with still 57 days remaining on its campaign. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the unique inflatable camera protection system and back panel.
VERR 18 pledges start from $74 or roughly £57 for the first 300 super early bird backers and worldwide shipping is expected to take place during August 2019 if manufacturing progresses smoothly. The development team behind the VEER 18L backpack display more about its design, features and inspiration.
“The VEER 18L pack is the first packable bag with an inflatable back panel and inflatable camera cube, giving you the right balance between having enough bag and keeping it minimal – whether you’re a photographer… or not. We worked relentlessly during our previous campaigns (from vetting manufacturers to fulfilling orders) and we were able to ship our bags on or before our promised date every time! On this campaign, we will work with the same calculated professionalism to ensure that our bags are delivered as promised. We do know in life and in business there are always unforeseeable risks and challenges, and we are committed to put forth every effort to do right by the customer if or when these situations arise.”
The VEER 18L backpack is available in three colours black, rust and cobalt blue and will be priced at $99 once the Kickstarter campaign comes to an end. For more details and a complete list of all available pledge options jump over to the project campaign page by following the link below.
