Also effective immediately, mailable motorized balance boards, or hover boards, will not be sent in international mail shipments, and are also prohibited in shipments to or from APO, FPO, and DPO destinations.
This means that hoverboards will only be shipped via ground transportation within the United States. By avoiding air transport, the USPS aims to reduce the risk of fire incidents during transit. Additionally, hoverboards will not be included in international mail shipments or sent to military addresses, further limiting the potential for hazardous situations.
