The Samsung Galaxy Round is only officially available in Samsung’s home country of South Korea, the handset retails for around $1,000 in the country, Samsung will not launch the device in other countries.
Now a US retailer, Negri Electronics, is offering an unlocked version of the Samsung galaxy Round, for a massive $1,129.50, and it looks like the handset is available to pre-order.

The Samsung Galaxy Round is Samsung’s first smartphone to launch with a flexible display, the handset is said to be a prototype device to test the market, and other flexible devices will be released by Samsung in the future.
The Samsung Galaxy Round features a 5.7 inch Super AMOLED full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the display is curved horizontally from right to left.

The handset is powered by a quad core 2.3GHz processor and it also comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, plus Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. The Galaxy Round also features a 13 megapixel camera, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 3.0 and LTE.
While Samsung has no plans to officially release the device in the US, LG recently announced that their new flexible display smartphone, the LG G Flex will be headed to the US shortly, lets hope it doesn’t cost as much as the Samsung Galay Round.
