Unity U-38 Belt V2

If you are searching for a seriously strong and rugged belt that is sure to last the test of time, and help keep your plans in place thanks to its new Tri-Lock feature. The Unity U-38 Belt V2 is well worth more investigation.

Check out the video below to learn more about the construction of the Unity U-38 Belt V2 which is both comfortable to wear and easy to adjust. Built to last the Unity U-38 Belt V2 is now available to back via Kickstarter with pledges starting from £40 and worldwide shipping expected to take place during March 2017.

The creator of the rugged belt explains more about its inspiration, design and functionality.

To celebrate Kickstarter’s fantastic Make 100 project, I’ve designed a new version of the U-38 belt. To celebrate its launch, I’ve also designed a couple of special edition rewards just for the Kickstarter community. Back the Make/100 level (limited to just 100 rewards) to be the first to receive the all new U-38 Belt V2 (featuring tri-lock), an exclusive Make/100 belt pouch and have your name appear on the exclusive Make/100 backers postcard.

At the heart of every belt is the magnificent Cobra buckle – these patented buckles are simply the best quick release buckles available – why compromise? I exclusively use automotive grade seat belt webbing, rather than the cheaper nylon webbing you may see some makers using. Although more expensive, the automotive webbing is much higher quality and it’s better to work with, it sheds water and dirt easily and won’t fray over time.  Each belt is cut and sealed with an industrial hot knife to give a clean finish before being sewn on my industrial Juki sewing machine.
