The Nokia 808 PureView is expected to go on sale in the UK and US shortly, although if you want one of these super camera smartphones then it looks like you will have to buy the SIM free versions.
As the various UK mobile carrier will not be offering the handset for a subsidized price on their networks here in the UK as a number of them have confirmed to Wired and Engadget.
The Nokia 808 PureView comes Symbian Belle as its OS and features a 41 megapixel camera and a 4 inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 640 x 960 pixels.
Other specifications include a 1.3GHz single core processor and comes with 16GB of built in storage, plus a microSD card slot that can take up to 32GB cards.
So if you want one you are going to end up paying around £499 for the handset, as Amazon and a number of other retailers will be selling the Nokia 808 PureView SIM free.
