Following on from the unveiling of the latest Allwinner H3 processor a few months ago, the first hardware equipped with the new processor has now been spotted by the team over at Geekbuying.
One of the first devices fitted with an Allwinner H3 chip takes the form of the Tronsmart Draco H3 Android TV stick, which is expected to launch soon and be priced between $30 and $40.
As well as being powered by the Allwinner’s ARM Cortex-A7 quad-core processor and supported by Mali-400MP2 graphics, enabling the pocket sized system to provide 4K Ultra HD playback and support hardware decoding of H.265/HEVC 4K video.
The Android TV Stick also comes supplied installed with 1GB of RAM, Google’s Android 4.4 KitKat operating system as well as support for connectivity via 802.11b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0. Ports on the system include HDMI, 1 x USB 2.0 port, 1 x micro USB OTG port, 1 x micro USB power port.
